I don’t know what is in this stuff, but you could put a metal object on a up-hill, and spray PB just bellow it. And the PB will slowly climb up to it like a worm going after its food. This works really well, cause I can spray this stuff into small crevices on an engine, or door hinges for example, and the product just works itself up in there. As far as a lubricant, it works really well. It does actually do what it claims, you spray it on, it stays there, works great. Now, as far as penetrating ability is concerned, this stuff is amazing. I really like Marvel Mystery Oil as a penetrator, but I have to admit, this PB is good stuff, works great. They sure have a lot of fancy wording on the can, obviously its all meant to attract attention to the product on the shelves, as its always the one that stands out from all the others. CONCLUSION: As a lubricator, it keeps parts moving smoothly. As a penetrator, it freeze up rusted parts. As a magnetic attractor, allows the product to get deep into crevices to better lubricate and penetrate whatever you have the product on. However, this stuff is without a doubt, a toxic product, especially if they give a warning to woman to not use the product if they have a baby one the way. I think the product works excellent, just wish they provided me with a straw! And another thing, why are chemicals that are capable of providing reproductive harm, always known to the state of California? You know, we got 49 other states, you would think at least one of them would know about it. But oh no, only California, where Arnold Schwarzenegger has his army of cybernetic robots putting out wild fires and serving EPA regulations. 17 of 17 people found the following review helpful. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful. Everything was going fine, until I got to the second rotor, and couldn’t get the thing to come off. I pounded on it with a mallet for some time (on and off for a good 25-30min), put a whole lot of WD40 on it, but nothing. Didn’t even budge. So, I decided to look for a better solution, and found this stuff recommended on various auto forums. Most everything I found said that if this couldn’t take it off, the last resort was going to be a cutting torch. So, I bought a can. Took it home, sprayed it in between the rotor and into the bolts and was surprised to see that it did actually stick pretty close and didn’t drip as much as the WD40. The stream is very precise and lets you get into small spots without a straw. I let it sit for a couple minutes, and came back with a dead blow hammer, and a few hits later was on my way again. I wish I had this stuff to begin with. It would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. It’s not fancy, and looks like a bottle of snake oil with all the promises on the packaging, but it comes through and does what it promises. If you have something rusted together and stuck, this will save you a LOT of time over other options. For the price (< $5), it's definitely worth the time. |
